International Dance Residency | Indo-Canadian winter residency

SINHA DANSE x VINYASA EARTH
December 8, 2025 – January 5, 2026 | Jaipur, India

Vinyasa Earth is delighted to host Sinha Danse, a contemporary dance company from Montréal, Canada, for an Indo-Canadian creative residency this winter. Led by celebrated choreographer Roger Sinha and emerging Indian choreographer Pritesh Mehta, this four-week process-based residency will bring together five contemporary dancers—two from Canada and three from India.

The residency is rooted in creative exchange, cultural dialogue, and choreographic research. Over the course of their stay, the artists will develop two original dance works:

• Zeros and Ones by Roger Sinha

• Asthir by Pritesh Mehta

Set in the serene surroundings of Vinyasa Earth—an artist ashram nestled in nature—the residency offers the space and time for deep embodiment, collaboration, and movement exploration.

While the final performance will be hosted externally, this journey at Vinyasa will serve as the foundation for the works’ development, holding space for process, reflection, and artistic rigor.
