SUMMARY:Drishti - New Years retreat
DESCRIPTION:What if the year didn’t have to end with a countdown\, but with a moment of clarity? \n\n\n\nDrishti is Vinyasa Earth’s year-end retreat — three days to step away from the noise\, look back at the year that has been\, and create space for the one that is about to begin. \n\n\n\nDrishti means vision — the way we see\, perceive and direct our attention. And that is at the heart of this gathering. \n\n\n\nFrom 29 to 31 December\, we come together at Vinyasa Earth for a slower kind of New Year. One rooted in movement\, stillness\, conversations\, nature\, creativity and community. \n\n\n\nThere is nowhere to rush to and nothing you need to become. \n\n\n\nInstead\, these three days invite you to notice. \n\n\n\nTo notice what this year gave you. What it asked of you. What you are ready to leave behind. And what you would like to carry forward. \n\n\n\nThe Experience\n\n\n\nDrishti unfolds gently across three days through experiences designed around reflection\, release and intention. \n\n\n\nExpect mornings that begin slowly\, movement and embodiment practices\, meditation and breathwork\, time in nature\, creative explorations\, intimate conversations and spaces for silence. \n\n\n\nThere will be moments to gather as a community and moments that are entirely your own. \n\n\n\nAs the year draws towards its end\, we move from looking back to looking ahead — not with resolutions or pressure to reinvent ourselves\, but with a clearer sense of what deserves our attention. \n\n\n\nA Different Kind of New Year\n\n\n\nDrishti isn’t a New Year’s Eve party disguised as a retreat. \n\n\n\nThere is no pressure to celebrate in a particular way. \n\n\n\nInstead\, we create a space where strangers can become a small community — sharing meals\, stories\, laughter\, silence and experiences together. \n\n\n\nOn 31 December\, we spend the final hours of the year intentionally: acknowledging what has passed\, making room for what is coming\, and welcoming the New Year together at Vinyasa. \n\n\n\nNo grand resolutions. \n\n\n\nJust a little more clarity about where you’re looking next. \n\n\n\nWho is Drishti for?\n\n\n\nDrishti is for anyone who feels like ending the year differently. \n\n\n\nYou don’t need experience with meditation\, movement\, yoga or any particular practice. You simply need a willingness to arrive\, participate and give yourself these three days. \n\n\n\nCome alone.Come with a friend.Come without knowing exactly what you’re looking for. \n\n\n\nSometimes\, changing where you stand changes what you can see. \n\n\n\n29–31 December 2026Vinyasa Earth\, Jaipur\, Rajasthan \n\n\n\nThree days. One year ending. Another beginning. \n\n\n\nCome find your Drishti.

SUMMARY:Zariya — Connecting Creators
DESCRIPTION:Zariya is Vinyasa Earth’s annual gathering of artists\, creators\, and curious minds — an evening that begins around sunset and slowly unfolds into a night of art\, conversations\, performances\, music\, and meaningful connections. \n\n\n\nHeld at Vinyasa Earth\, Jaipur\, Zariya was born from a simple thought: festivals give us a beautiful reason to come together. To reconnect with people we know\, meet those we don’t\, exchange ideas\, experience each other’s art\, and celebrate without needing to rush. \n\n\n\nAs the sun sets\, Vinyasa transforms into a shared creative space. There may be performances\, open stages\, artist showcases\, conversations\, spontaneous jams\, installations\, exhibitions and experiences — some planned\, some that simply emerge from the people who gather. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAt the heart of Zariya is connection. \n\n\n\nConnection between artists and audiences. Between different creative disciplines. Between old friends and new collaborators. And between celebration and a more conscious way of experiencing it. \n\n\n\nRooted in the ethos of Vinyasa Earth\, Zariya also explores what it means to celebrate more mindfully — through local craftsmanship\, natural spaces\, conscious choices and a gathering that values participation over spectacle. \n\n\n\nThe evening continues late into the night\, with the option of staying back at Vinyasa. The following morning is slower — a chance to wake up together\, move\, breathe\, share a meal\, reflect on the night before and eventually make our way home. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou don’t have to arrive with an agenda. \n\n\n\nCome with your art.Come with a story.Come with a friend.Come curious. \n\n\n\nPerhaps you leave with a collaboration\, an idea\, a conversation\, a new friend — or simply a beautiful memory. \n\n\n\nZariya is our way of celebrating the festive season by bringing people back together. \n\n\n\nA night to create.A night to connect.A night to celebrate. \n\n\n\nSee you at Zariya.

SUMMARY:Artist Unite - A residency of self creation
DESCRIPTION:Most artists spend a large part of their creative lives working within their own practice. A dancer rehearses in a studio. A painter spends hours with a canvas. A theatre-maker develops an idea with a small group. We meet other artists at performances\, exhibitions and festivals—but rarely do we get to experience how they actually live and create. \n\n\n\nArtist Unite is a ten-day interdisciplinary residency built around that experience. \n\n\n\nArtists from different disciplines come together to live\, create\, exchange practices and experience what it feels like to be part of an artistic community. \n\n\n\nThere are no masterclasses here. \n\n\n\nInstead\, resident artists open up their practices to one another. A painter might invite you into the way they observe. A dancer might share how they begin creating movement. A theatre artist might introduce a game they use to discover characters. A visual artist might take everyone outdoors to collect\, arrange or respond to materials. \n\n\n\nYou don’t need to belong to that discipline to participate. \n\n\n\nThe intention isn’t to teach everyone how to paint\, dance or perform. It is to experience how another artist thinks through their art. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Rhythm of Artist Unite\n\n\n\nEach day has only two facilitated spaces. \n\n\n\nThe day begins with a shared morning stretch\, followed by an Artist Process Session at 7:30 AM\, where one of the resident artists shares an aspect of their creative practice. \n\n\n\nAfter breakfast\, the day opens up. \n\n\n\nThe afternoons are deliberately kept free for self-creation. \n\n\n\nBring an idea you’ve been wanting to explore. Continue an existing work. Start something entirely new. Rehearse\, paint\, write\, build\, research\, experiment—or find another artist whose practice makes you curious and create something together. \n\n\n\nAt 6:30 PM\, we gather again for another shared practice\, experiment\, conversation or interdisciplinary exchange. \n\n\n\nDinner is followed by a closing circle\, and some nights may simply continue into conversations\, music and spontaneous jams. \n\n\n\nThe structure is intentionally light because Artist Unite isn’t designed to keep artists busy. It is designed to give artists space. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLife Between the Sessions\n\n\n\nPerhaps the most important part of Artist Unite is everything that isn’t scheduled. \n\n\n\nHaving breakfast beside someone whose artistic language is completely different from yours. \n\n\n\nWalking past a rehearsal and stopping to watch. \n\n\n\nSeeing a painting evolve over several days. \n\n\n\nHelping somebody build an installation. \n\n\n\nDiscussing an unfinished idea over dinner. \n\n\n\nFinding yourself collaborating with someone you hadn’t planned to work with. \n\n\n\nFor ten days\, art isn’t something you travel somewhere to see. \n\n\n\nIt is simply happening around you. \n\n\n\nThat is what we mean by living inside an artistic community. \n\n\n\nAnd Then\, We Build Zariya.\n\n\n\nThe final day of Artist Unite is Zariya — 24 October 2026. \n\n\n\nOver the course of the residency\, Vinyasa gradually transforms from a home for artists into a festival created by them. \n\n\n\nPerformances begin taking shape.Artworks find their spaces.Installations appear.Collaborations emerge.Corners of Vinyasa begin becoming stages\, galleries and experiences. \n\n\n\nAs a resident artist\, you don’t just arrive at Zariya to perform or exhibit. \n\n\n\nYou experience how an entire festival comes alive through a community of artists—and you become part of it. \n\n\n\nArtists will have the opportunity to present their work at Zariya through performances\, exhibitions\, installations\, interdisciplinary works or other forms appropriate to their practice. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWho Is Artist Unite For?\n\n\n\nArtist Unite is open to artists across disciplines—dancers\, painters\, theatre-makers\, visual artists\, musicians\, sculptors\, photographers\, filmmakers\, writers\, performance artists and interdisciplinary practitioners. \n\n\n\nYou might come because you want ten days dedicated to creating something. You might come because you want to present your work at Zariya. You might come because you’re curious about other artistic practices.Or you might simply want to know: \n\n\n\nWhat happens when artists from completely different worlds live together for ten days? \n\n\n\nArtist Unite is an invitation to find out. SUMMARY:The Pause Within
DESCRIPTION:A two-night\, two-day residential retreat with Nikita ChawdaVinyasa Earth\, Jaipur \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe all experience stress differently. \n\n\n\nFor some\, the body speeds up. For some\, everything begins to feel overwhelming. For others\, the body becomes quiet\, tired or numb. Often\, we continue pushing through without understanding what these experiences are trying to tell us. \n\n\n\nThe Pause Within is an invitation to slow down and become curious about how stress\, emotions\, tension\, overwhelm\, disconnection and the need for rest show up in our everyday lives. \n\n\n\nThis is not a retreat about eliminating stress or achieving a particular state of calm. It is an exploration of our relationship with stress—an opportunity to recognise our patterns\, understand our signals and discover what helps us feel supported. \n\n\n\nPart of The Collective Body \n\n\n\nThe Pause Within is being offered as part of Vinyasa Earth’s Artist-in-Residence Program. \n\n\n\nDuring her three-month residency at Vinyasa\, Nikita is conducting a research project titled The Collective Body — Moving Through Stress\, Trauma and Shame. The project explores how we experience stress\, trauma and shame\, and how somatic practices may help us build a more supportive relationship with ourselves. \n\n\n\nAs part of the retreat\, participants will be required to complete a short survey before and after the experience. The surveys will ask about their stress levels and their sense of safety within the body\, helping support Nikita’s ongoing research. \n\n\n\nFurther information about the use of survey responses will be shared with participants before their consent is taken. \n\n\n\nWhat We Will Explore \n\n\n\nOver these two days\, we will explore: \n\n\n\n\nHow we recognise when stress is building\n\n\n\nHow emotions show up physically\n\n\n\nWhat helps us feel more settled and supported\n\n\n\nHow to notice when we are doing too much\n\n\n\nHow to pause before reacting automatically\n\n\n\nHow to remain connected to ourselves during difficult moments\n\n\n\nSimple practices that can support us in everyday life\n\n\n\n\nThe retreat is experiential and rooted in curiosity. There is no particular state to achieve and no single correct way to experience it. \n\n\n\nWho Is This Retreat For? \n\n\n\nThe Pause Within may be meaningful for you if you: \n\n\n\n\nFind it difficult to slow down or switch off\n\n\n\nKeep going even when you feel tired\n\n\n\nOften feel overwhelmed\, restless\, disconnected or numb\n\n\n\nNotice emotions showing up as tension\, heaviness or fatigue\n\n\n\nReact before having time to understand what is happening\n\n\n\nWant to understand your patterns around stress\n\n\n\nAre curious about somatics\, body awareness or nervous-system work\n\n\n\nSimply want two days to pause and listen to yourself\n\n\n\n\nNo previous experience with somatic or body-based practices is required. \n\n\n\nWhat You May Take Back \n\n\n\nRather than offering a fixed solution\, the retreat may help you develop: \n\n\n\n\nA clearer understanding of your stress responses\n\n\n\nGreater awareness of what supports you\n\n\n\nMore space between what you feel and what you do next\n\n\n\nA more compassionate relationship with yourself\n\n\n\nSimple practices that can continue beyond the retreat\n\n\n\n\nAbout Nikita\n\n\n\nNikita Chawda is a somatic therapist and Play Movement Educator who brings together different somatic modalities in her work with adults navigating trauma\, stress and shame. \n\n\n\nHer approach is not about fixing\, changing or controlling the body and mind. Instead\, she creates the time\, space and support needed to meet ourselves where we are and reconnect with the vitality and aliveness within us. \n\n\n\nNikita believes that our bodies carry their own resilience\, medicine and intelligence. By learning to listen to this intelligence\, we can come closer to our authentic selves and allow our expression to find belonging—within us and in the world around us. \n\n\n\nRetreat Passes \n\n\n\nComplete Retreat Pass — ₹4\,999 \n\n\n\nIncludes the two-night stay\, food and retreat facilitation. \n\n\n\nStay & Retreat Pass — ₹2\,499 \n\n\n\nIncludes the two-night stay and retreat facilitation. SUMMARY:Anhad ka Baaja
DESCRIPTION:An Evening of Kabir Bhajans \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWith Priyal at Vinyasa Earth\, Jaipur\n\n\n\nAnhad ka Baaja is an intimate evening of listening and singing along to the words of Sant Kabir. \n\n\n\nLed by Priyal\, the evening invites us to slow down and experience Kabir’s poetry through music—not only as something to be performed\, but as something to be felt\, shared and reflected upon. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCome as you are. Listen quietly\, sing along when you feel called\, and spend an evening in the company of music\, poetry and people. \n\n\n\nAbout Priyal\n\n\n\nPriyal has been a musician for the past 16 years and began singing Kabir bhajans four years ago. His journey took him to Prahlad Tipaniya Ji\, with whom he spent two years travelling\, learning and deepening his relationship with Kabir’s music. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhile he has rarely performed solo\, Anhad ka Baaja marks a new step in his journey as he brings these bhajans to Vinyasa in his own voice. \n\n\n\nFood is not included in the ticket. Guests can place their orders with the Vinyasa kitchen before the event begins. \n\n\n\nCome listen\, sing and spend an evening with Kabir. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\nDate : 12 September 2026 \n\n\n\nTime : 6 PM Onwards \n\n\n\nVenue: Vinyasa Earth\, Jaipur \n\n\n\nIncludes : Welcome Drink

SUMMARY:Open Studio Exchange Week
DESCRIPTION:5 Days • 10 Artists • Learn Together. Facilitate Confidently. Earn Through Workshop Passes. \n\n\n\nA five-day gathering for artists who want to explore facilitation\, exchange skills\, and learn directly from fellow practitioners. Each participating artist offers one workshop from their practice and gains access to nine others—creating a week of collaborative learning\, experimentation\, and community living at Vinyasa Earth.Whether you’re a dancer\, musician\, visual artist\, writer\, filmmaker\, craftsperson\, designer\, theatre-maker\, facilitator\, or multidisciplinary creator\, this is an opportunity to step into both roles: teacher and student. \n\n\n\n\nJoin the Camp\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Idea\n\n\n\nMost artists spend years refining their craft. Far fewer get the opportunity to refine how they share that craft with others. \n\n\n\nOpen Studio Exchange Week is a space for artists who are curious about facilitation\, workshop design\, community building\, and creating meaningful experiences around their practice. \n\n\n\nFor five days\, ten artists come together to live\, learn\, teach\, and exchange perspectives. Each artist facilitates one workshop while participating in the workshops offered by the other artists in the cohort. \n\n\n\nThe result is a unique environment where artists not only receive feedback on their work but also witness nine different ways of holding space\, structuring experiences\, and engaging participants. \n\n\n\nYou may arrive with one way of conducting a workshop. You may leave with ten. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhy This Exchange Matters\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWorkshops are becoming an increasingly important way for artists to share their practice\, build communities\, and generate income. Yet many artists rarely receive the opportunity to observe how others facilitate\, communicate\, curate experiences\, and engage participants. This week is designed to change that. \n\n\n\nBy living alongside fellow artists and participating in their sessions\, you’ll gain exposure to different facilitation styles\, teaching approaches\, creative methodologies\, and audience engagement techniques. \n\n\n\nThink of these five days as a laboratory for artistic facilitation. \n\n\n\nA space to: \n\n\n\n\nExplore workshop design\n\n\n\nReceive feedback from fellow artists\n\n\n\nGain confidence in holding space\n\n\n\nObserve how others facilitate\n\n\n\nExperiment with new ideas\n\n\n\nReignite enthusiasm for sharing your work\n\n\n\nBuild meaningful artistic relationships\n\n\n\n\nYou may leave with testimonials. You may leave with workshop earnings. Most importantly\, you’ll leave with a wider understanding of how your practice can be shared with others. \n\n\n\n\nJoin the Camp\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHow It Works\n\n\n\n\n10 artists are selected for the exchange.\n\n\n\nThe exchange runs for 5 days at Vinyasa Earth.\n\n\n\nEvery facilitating artist conducts one workshop.\n\n\n\nFacilitating artists receive access to all workshops during the week.\n\n\n\nWorkshops are opened to the public through Workshop Passes.\n\n\n\nVinyasa Earth provides space\, logistics\, marketing\, and ticketing support.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWho Is This For?\n\n\n\nThis exchange is ideal for: \n\n\n\n\nDancers\n\n\n\nMusicians\n\n\n\nWriters\n\n\n\nTheatre-makers\n\n\n\nVisual artists\n\n\n\nFilmmakers\n\n\n\nDesigners\n\n\n\nCraftspeople\n\n\n\nMovement practitioners\n\n\n\nFacilitators\n\n\n\nMultidisciplinary creators\n\n\n\n\nYou do not need prior workshop facilitation experience. \n\n\n\nIf you have a practice\, process\, perspective\, or methodology that could benefit others\, you are welcome to apply. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nArtist Facilitator\n\n\n\n₹7\,400/- + taxes\n\n\n\nThe actual cost of staying at Vinyasa Earth with accommodation and meals is significantly higher. Vinyasa functions as a collaborative exchange\, and contributions will be shaped based on the artist’s discipline\, strengths\, and the evolving needs of the space. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhile the exact nature of engagement will be discussed and mutually aligned over a call prior to final selection\, a tentative framework is outlined below: \n\n\n\n\nArtists are expected to offer consistent\, accessible engagements for the community. For example: A yoga practitioner may offer a daily 30-minute open session\, accessible to everyone present at Vinyasa.\n\n\n\nAdditionally\, artists will curate a deeper weekly or weekend offering\, such as:\n\nA 45–60 minute curated session\n\n\n\nA themed workshop or immersive practice\n\n\n\n\n\nThese offerings are intended to build rhythm\, community participation\, and shared experience within the space.\n\n\n\n\nIndependent Offerings & Revenue Sharing\n\n\n\nAs the residency does not include a stipend\, artists are encouraged to design and host their own paid offerings\, such as: \n\n\n\n\nWorkshops\n\n\n\nMasterclasses\n\n\n\nPrivate sessions\n\n\n\nSpecialized experiences\n\n\n\n\nThese will operate on a revenue-sharing model\, with a 60–40 split (Artist–Vinyasa). \n\n\n\nThis structure allows artists to sustain themselves financially while deepening their engagement with their practice and audience. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nResearch Documentation & Submission\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe residency places strong emphasis on rigorous documentation and knowledge creation. \n\n\n\nArtists are required to: \n\n\n\n\nDevelop their research into a well-structured white paper or research document\n\n\n\nMaintain consistent documentation throughout the residency period\n\n\n\nSubmit their work in phases\, aligned with their proposed timeline\n\n\n\n\nDocumentation may include:\n\n\n\n\nWritten reflections and analytical notes\n\n\n\nProcess journals\n\n\n\nVisual documentation (photo/video)\n\n\n\nInterviews\, observations\, or community interactions\n\n\n\nPractice-based insights and findings\n\n\n\n\nFinal Submission Format\n\n\n\nThe final output must take the form of a comprehensive research document\, clearly articulating: \n\n\n\n\nResearch intent and context\n\n\n\nMethodology and process\n\n\n\nKey observations and learnings\n\n\n\nEvolution of practice\n\n\n\nFinal outcomes or propositions\n\n\n\n\nThis document will become part of the Vinyasa Archive\, contributing to a growing body of practice-led research emerging from the space. \n\n\n\nApply\nApply for the
