This proposal should clearly articulate: \n\n\n\n1. Research Topic\n\n\n\n\nWhat is the central question or inquiry?\n\n\n\nWhy is this relevant to your practice and the current moment?\n\n\n\n\n2. Scope & Depth\n\n\n\n\nWhat themes\, mediums\, or approaches will you explore?\n\n\n\nHow will Vinyasa as a space influence or support this inquiry?\n\n\n\n\n3. Vinyasa functions as a collaborative exchange\, and contributions will be shaped based on the artist’s discipline\, strengths\, and the evolving needs of the space. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhile the exact nature of engagement will be discussed and mutually aligned over a call prior to final selection\, a tentative framework is outlined below: \n\n\n\n\nArtists are expected to offer consistent\, accessible engagements for the community. For example: A yoga practitioner may offer a daily 30-minute open session\, accessible to everyone present at Vinyasa.\n\n\n\nAdditionally\, artists will curate a deeper weekly or weekend offering\, such as:\n\nA 45–60 minute curated session\n\n\n\nA themed workshop or immersive practice\n\n\n\n\n\nThese offerings are intended to build rhythm\, community participation\, and shared experience within the space.\n\n\n\n\nIndependent Offerings & Revenue Sharing\n\n\n\nAs the residency does not include a stipend\, artists are encouraged to design and host their own paid offerings\, such as: \n\n\n\n\nWorkshops\n\n\n\nMasterclasses\n\n\n\nPrivate sessions\n\n\n\nSpecialized experiences\n\n\n\n\nThese will operate on a revenue-sharing model\, with a 60–40 split (Artist–Vinyasa). \n\n\n\nThis structure allows artists to sustain themselves financially while deepening their engagement with their practice and audience. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nResearch Documentation & Submission\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe residency places strong emphasis on rigorous documentation and knowledge creation. \n\n\n\nArtists are required to: \n\n\n\n\nDevelop their research into a well-structured white paper or research document\n\n\n\nMaintain consistent documentation throughout the residency period\n\n\n\nSubmit their work in phases\, aligned with their proposed timeline\n\n\n\n\nDocumentation may include:\n\n\n\n\nWritten reflections and analytical notes\n\n\n\nProcess journals\n\n\n\nVisual documentation (photo/video)\n\n\n\nInterviews\, observations\, or community interactions\n\n\n\nPractice-based insights and findings\n\n\n\n\nFinal Submission Format\n\n\n\nThe final output must take the form of a comprehensive research document\, clearly articulating: \n\n\n\n\nResearch intent and context\n\n\n\nMethodology and process\n\n\n\nKey observations and learnings\n\n\n\nEvolution of practice\n\n\n\nFinal outcomes or propositions\n\n\n\n\nThis document will become part of the Vinyasa Archive\, contributing to a growing body of practice-led research emerging from the space. \n\n\n\nApply\nApply for the SUMMARY:Monsoon Artists’ Gathering
DESCRIPTION:For 5 days this become home for Artists \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis July\, we are inviting 25 artists to come together at Vinyasa Earth for five days — to live\, create\, and simply be with one another as the monsoon arrives. \n\n\n\n5 Days · 25 Artists · ₹5\,000 \n\n\n\nApply Now\n\nApply\n\n\nName Art form / medium Email *Contact Number whatsapp number preferredPortfolio website/googledrive/instagramMessageSubmit\n\n\n\n\n\nTHE IDEA \n\n\n\nImagine waking up and hearing music somewhere in the distance. In another corner\, a few people are moving together.Someone is editing footage.Someone is writing. \n\n\n\nTwo people are still deep in a conversation that started the night before. Nobody planned any of this. It’s simply what happens when artists share space long enough. \n\n\n\nThat is the idea behind Monsoon Artists’ Gathering. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA community of 25 artists at Vinyasa Earth — five days of shared living\, creating\, collaborating\, resting\, and being around people who understand the way you experience the world. \n\n\n\nNo rigid schedule. No pressure to constantly produce. No pressure to impress anyone. \n\n\n\nJust artists\, together\, during the monsoon. \n\n\n\nTHE RHYTHM OF THE GATHERING \n\n\n\nEach morning begins with a shared circle. We sit together\, check in with one another\, and open the day slowly. People can share what they’re feeling\, announce an offering\, invite others into something they’re exploring\, or simply listen. All meals are shared together as a community. \n\n\n\nEvery evening\, before dinner\, we gather again for a short silent circle — 15 minutes to pause\, slow down\, and arrive back into the space together. \n\n\n\nThese small rituals become the anchors of the gathering. Everything else flows naturally around them. \n\n\n\nApply Now\n\nApply\n\n\nName Art form / medium Email *Contact Number whatsapp number preferredPortfolio website/googledrive/instagramNameSubmit\n\n\n\n\n\nWHAT THESE DAYS FEEL LIKE \n\n\n\nSome moments will be full — a late night jam that nobody planned\, a film screening that turns into a two hour conversation\, a collaboration between a musician and a dancer that neither of them saw coming. \n\n\n\nSome moments will be quiet — chai in the morning\, a walk in the rain\, sitting with your own work while the sound of someone else’s creativity hums softly in the background. \n\n\n\nBoth are equally the point. \n\n\n\nEach day\, anyone can offer something to the group:a session\,a screening\,a jam\,a reading\,a movement practice\,a conversation\,a walk\,or anything else that naturally wants to emerge. \n\n\n\nPeople join what calls to them. Nothing is compulsory. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWHO THIS IS FOR \n\n\n\nArtists from any discipline — music\, writing\, dance\, theatre\, film\, photography\, visual arts\, design\, movement\, storytelling\, or anything in between. \n\n\n\nWe’re not looking for the “best” artists. We’re looking for people who are open:to sharing space\,to collaborating\,to listening\,and to spending five days together with sincerity and care. \n\n\n\nBring your instruments\, notebooks\, unfinished ideas\, cameras\, curiosity. Or simply bring yourself. \n\n\n\nApply Now\n\nApply\n\n\nName Art form / medium Email *Contact Number whatsapp number preferredPortfolio website/googledrive/instagramPhoneSubmit\n\n\n\n\n\nWHAT YOU TAKE HOME \n\n\n\nPeople who understand your work because they witnessed it happen. And the feeling of being completely at home around other artists. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTHE SPACE – Vinyasa Earth \n\n\n\nEveryone stays together in shared accommodation surrounded by nature and monsoon landscapes. Warm vegetarian meals are provided throughout the gathering by Vinyasa Earth. There will also be open community spaces to gather\, create\, rest\, make music\, read\, or simply spend time together throughout the day and night. Artists who wish to stay longer after the gathering are welcome to extend their stay at ₹1\,000 per day\, including food and accommodation. \n\n\n\nCONTRIBUTION \n\n\n\n₹5\,000 per person \n\n\n\nIncludes stay and all meals for 5 days. \n\n\n\nWe’ve intentionally kept the contribution low so artists are not choosing between community and rent. \n\n\n\nAPPLY \n\n\n\n25 spots. \n\n\n\nA simple application. \n\n\n\nTell us who you are\, what you make\, and why you want to be there. \n\n\n\nApply Now\n\nApply\n\n\nName Art form / medium Email *Contact Number whatsapp number preferredPortfolio website/googledrive/instagramPhoneSubmit

SUMMARY:Sangat - A community kitchen & shared table
DESCRIPTION:A community kitchen & shared table. \n\n\n\n\nThe table is always bigger than we think. \n\n\n\nSangat began with a simple thought – Meals are better when they’re shared. \n\n\n\nOn the 19th of July\, we’ll gather around one table with food from many homes. Some people will bring a dish they’ve cooked\, some will bring ingredients to cook at Vinyasa\, and some will simply come to spend the evening together. \n\n\n\nThere is no right way to be part of Sangat. \n\n\n\nEveryone brings something.Sometimes it’s food.Sometimes it’s a recipe.Sometimes it’s a board game\, a badminton racquet\, a guitar\, or a story.Sometimes it’s simply their presence. \n\n\n\nThe evening belongs to everyone who comes. Together\, we’ll cook\, share\, eat\, clean\, laugh\, and let the evening unfold in its own way. \n\n\n\nSangat is supported by voluntary contributions. If you’d like to help keep this gathering alive\, you’re welcome to contribute in whatever way feels right. \n\n\n\nCome as you are. \n\n\n\nThe table is always bigger than we think.

SUMMARY:Open Studio Exchange Week
DESCRIPTION:5 Days • 10 Artists • Learn Together. Facilitate Confidently. Earn Through Workshop Passes. \n\n\n\nA five-day gathering for artists who want to explore facilitation\, exchange skills\, and learn directly from fellow practitioners. Each participating artist offers one workshop from their practice and gains access to nine others—creating a week of collaborative learning\, experimentation\, and community living at Vinyasa Earth.Whether you’re a dancer\, musician\, visual artist\, writer\, filmmaker\, craftsperson\, designer\, theatre-maker\, facilitator\, or multidisciplinary creator\, this is an opportunity to step into both roles: teacher and student. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Idea\n\n\n\nMost artists spend years refining their craft. Far fewer get the opportunity to refine how they share that craft with others. \n\n\n\nOpen Studio Exchange Week is a space for artists who are curious about facilitation\, workshop design\, community building\, and creating meaningful experiences around their practice. \n\n\n\nFor five days\, ten artists come together to live\, learn\, teach\, and exchange perspectives. Each artist facilitates one workshop while participating in the workshops offered by the other artists in the cohort. \n\n\n\nThe result is a unique environment where artists not only receive feedback on their work but also witness nine different ways of holding space\, structuring experiences\, and engaging participants. \n\n\n\nYou may arrive with one way of conducting a workshop. You may leave with ten. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhy This Exchange Matters\n\n\n\nWorkshops are becoming an increasingly important way for artists to share their practice\, build communities\, and generate income. Yet many artists rarely receive the opportunity to observe how others facilitate\, communicate\, curate experiences\, and engage participants. This week is designed to change that. \n\n\n\nBy living alongside fellow artists and participating in their sessions\, you’ll gain exposure to different facilitation styles\, teaching approaches\, creative methodologies\, and audience engagement techniques. \n\n\n\nThink of these five days as a laboratory for artistic facilitation. \n\n\n\nA space to: \n\n\n\n\nExplore workshop design\n\n\n\nReceive feedback from fellow artists\n\n\n\nGain confidence in holding space\n\n\n\nObserve how others facilitate\n\n\n\nExperiment with new ideas\n\n\n\nReignite enthusiasm for sharing your work\n\n\n\nBuild meaningful artistic relationships\n\n\n\n\nYou may leave with testimonials. You may leave with workshop earnings. Most importantly\, you’ll leave with a wider understanding of how your practice can be shared with others. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHow It Works\n\n\n\n\n10 artists are selected for the exchange.\n\n\n\nThe exchange runs for 5 days at Vinyasa Earth.\n\n\n\nEvery facilitating artist conducts one workshop.\n\n\n\nFacilitating artists receive access to all workshops during the week.\n\n\n\nWorkshops are opened to the public through Workshop Passes.\n\n\n\nVinyasa Earth provides space\, logistics\, marketing\, and ticketing support.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWho Is This For?\n\n\n\nThis exchange is ideal for: \n\n\n\n\nDancers\n\n\n\nMusicians\n\n\n\nWriters\n\n\n\nTheatre-makers\n\n\n\nVisual artists\n\n\n\nFilmmakers\n\n\n\nDesigners\n\n\n\nCraftspeople\n\n\n\nMovement practitioners\n\n\n\nFacilitators\n\n\n\nMultidisciplinary creators\n\n\n\n\nYou do not need prior workshop facilitation experience. \n\n\n\nIf you have a practice\, process\, perspective\, or methodology that could benefit others\, you are welcome to apply. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nArtist Facilitator\n\n\n\n₹7\,400/- + taxes\n\n\n\nThe actual cost of staying at Vinyasa Earth with accommodation and meals is significantly higher.
