This proposal should clearly articulate: \n\n\n\n1. Research Topic\n\n\n\n\nWhat is the central question or inquiry?\n\n\n\nWhy is this relevant to your practice and the current moment?\n\n\n\n\n2. Scope & Depth\n\n\n\n\nWhat themes\, mediums\, or approaches will you explore?\n\n\n\nHow will Vinyasa as a space influence or support this inquiry?\n\n\n\n\n3. Vinyasa functions as a collaborative exchange\, and contributions will be shaped based on the artist’s discipline\, strengths\, and the evolving needs of the space. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhile the exact nature of engagement will be discussed and mutually aligned over a call prior to final selection\, a tentative framework is outlined below: \n\n\n\n\nArtists are expected to offer consistent\, accessible engagements for the community. For example: A yoga practitioner may offer a daily 30-minute open session\, accessible to everyone present at Vinyasa.\n\n\n\nAdditionally\, artists will curate a deeper weekly or weekend offering\, such as:\n\nA 45–60 minute curated session\n\n\n\nA themed workshop or immersive practice\n\n\n\n\n\nThese offerings are intended to build rhythm\, community participation\, and shared experience within the space.\n\n\n\n\nIndependent Offerings & Revenue Sharing\n\n\n\nAs the residency does not include a stipend\, artists are encouraged to design and host their own paid offerings\, such as: \n\n\n\n\nWorkshops\n\n\n\nMasterclasses\n\n\n\nPrivate sessions\n\n\n\nSpecialized experiences\n\n\n\n\nThese will operate on a revenue-sharing model\, with a 60–40 split (Artist–Vinyasa). \n\n\n\nThis structure allows artists to sustain themselves financially while deepening their engagement with their practice and audience. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nResearch Documentation & Submission\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe residency places strong emphasis on rigorous documentation and knowledge creation. \n\n\n\nArtists are required to: \n\n\n\n\nDevelop their research into a well-structured white paper or research document\n\n\n\nMaintain consistent documentation throughout the residency period\n\n\n\nSubmit their work in phases\, aligned with their proposed timeline\n\n\n\n\nDocumentation may include:\n\n\n\n\nWritten reflections and analytical notes\n\n\n\nProcess journals\n\n\n\nVisual documentation (photo/video)\n\n\n\nInterviews\, observations\, or community interactions\n\n\n\nPractice-based insights and findings\n\n\n\n\nFinal Submission Format\n\n\n\nThe final output must take the form of a comprehensive research document\, clearly articulating: \n\n\n\n\nResearch intent and context\n\n\n\nMethodology and process\n\n\n\nKey observations and learnings\n\n\n\nEvolution of practice\n\n\n\nFinal outcomes or propositions\n\n\n\n\nThis document will become part of the Vinyasa Archive\, contributing to a growing body of practice-led research emerging from the space. \n\n\n\nApply\nApply for the SUMMARY:Become Your Own Muse - Women’s Retreat
DESCRIPTION:What if\, for once\, you became the subject of your own art?Become Your Own Muse is a creative retreat for women built around one idea: turning your attention back towards yourself. \n\n\n\nThrough writing\, painting\, movement\, nature and spoken word\, we explore how we see ourselves\, how we inhabit our bodies and what changes when we allow ourselves to become both artist and muse. \n\n\n\nYou don’t need to be a dancer\, writer or painter. You only need to arrive curious. \n\n\n\nThe Experience\n\n\n\nThe retreat begins with reflection. \n\n\n\nThrough journaling and creative prompts\, we explore identity\, desire\, memory\, confidence and the parts of ourselves we may have stopped paying attention to. \n\n\n\nYou begin shaping your thoughts into a poem and eventually speak those words aloud in your own voice. \n\n\n\n\nYou paint.\n\n\n\nYou write.\n\n\n\nYou walk in nature.\n\n\n\nYou explore movement without choreography or performance.\n\n\n\n\nThe intention is never to make something perfect. It is to discover what happens when you give yourself permission to create from who you already are. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYour Words. Your Voice. Your Body.\n\n\n\nOver the course of the retreat\, you will develop a personal poem and explore how those words might live in your body. \n\n\n\nTowards the end\, you will record the poem in your own voice and create a visual piece of yourself moving to it. \n\n\n\nYou leave with a work of art made entirely from you. With your thoughts\, your words\, your voice and your body. \n\n\n\nWho Is It For?\n\n\n\nBecome Your Own Muse is for anyone curious about self-expression. \n\n\n\nYou might come because you want to reconnect with your creative side. \n\n\n\nBecause you want to feel more at home in your body. \n\n\n\nBecause you have always wanted to write\, move or make art but never thought of yourself as “creative.” \n\n\n\nOr simply because you want to spend two days paying attention to yourself in a different way. \n\n\n\nNo previous experience with writing\, dance\, movement or painting is required. \n\n\n\nWhat You Leave With?\n\n\n\nA poem. \n\n\n\nA painting. \n\n\n\nA film. \n\n\n\nA new way of moving. \n\n\n\nA sentence you didn’t know you needed to write. \n\n\n\nOr perhaps simply a different way of seeing yourself. \n\n\n\nThe retreat moves through one question after another: \n\n\n\nWhat is inside me? \n\n\n\nHow do I see myself? \n\n\n\nWhat do I want to say? \n\n\n\nCan I own these words? \n\n\n\nCan my body believe them too? \n\n\n\nAnd finally: \n\n\n\nCan I witness and celebrate myself?\n\n\n\nStay & Retreat Passes\n\n\n\nDuring the retreat\, participants will stay in Vinyasa Earth’s cottages\, surrounded by the open\, natural landscape of the property. \n\n\n\n*Pay 50% advance to reserve your spot now. \n\n\n\nSharing Stay — ₹15\,000 + GST per person\n\n\n\nIncludes the complete retreat experience\, accommodation on a sharing basis and food throughout the stay. \n\n\n\n\nReserve Sharing Stay Now\n\n\n\n\nPrivate Cottage — ₹22\,000 + GST\n\n\n\nBook an entire cottage for yourself and experience the retreat with your own private space. \n\n\n\n\nReserve Private Cottage Now\n\n\n\n\nDorm — ₹9\,000 + GST\n\n\n\nAll options include the full retreat program\, meals and residential stay at Vinyasa Earth. \n\n\n\n\nReserve Dorm Now\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nRetreat Details\n\n\n\nDates: 27–30 November 2026Venue: Vinyasa Earth\, Jaipur\, Rajasthan \n\n\n\nCome curious. \n\n\n\nYou do not need to search for the muse. \n\n\n\nYou get to be her. \n\n\n\nYour Hosts :\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nShreya Dalela is a writer and dancer exploring how creativity helps women return to themselves. Through movement\, writing\, and her study of women artists\, she explores self-expression\, freedom\, and the courage to take our creative desires seriously.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAnangsha Alammyan is a writer\, pole dancer\, and entrepreneur who left academia to build a life around words\, freedom\, and creativity. She is the author of five books\, and her writing reaches hundreds of thousands of readers. At the heart of her work is the belief that women are allowed to keep discovering new versions of themselves.
