We believe the energy of creation is pure and sacred. Hence Vinyasa takes care of your daily routines (comfortable beds to sleep, healthy food to nourish) while you can immerse yourself in co creating and connecting with your practice and with other artists.

Community

For 4 years Vinyasa has been built by a wide community and is run by a community. We have learned many things in this lifestyle and we want to offer you the experience of a living artist community at Abhyaasa.

Inspire

At Abhyaasa, we want to bring together the magic of multiple artist fusing and brewing their art to churn a masterpiece that creates a core shift. Can it get any better?!

The Abhyaasa Summer Art Residency is a unique creative experience designed by artists for artists. It is an invite to all artists—dancers, filmmakers, painters, musicians, and more—into a collaborative space where they can explore their craft, connect with others, and share their unique knowledge through dedicated teaching sessions. A key highlight of the residency is the opportunity to participate in a collaborative work through discussions, constructive criticism, fusion of artforms, holding gentle space for other and learning the art of discussion. A final showcase at the program’s conclusion will what drive the residency.

We have 2 spots for 40% scholarship for Indian nationals. Write us a mail(vinyasa.ashram@gmail.com) if you wish to apply for the scholarships enclosing artist statement, research intent and why you believe you should be awarded the scholarship.

Application Process

01.

Initiate your application below with your portfolio (dance/theatre/film). You will receive a call from the team for alignment on the residency and set up a video call.

02.

The video call is for us to understand our mindset and the energies you bring in at the residency. The only way to prepare for this is you being yourself.

03.

If you are shortlisted, you will receive an email invite for the residency with a booking link for confirming your spot. Once you confirm, you will be onboarded on the residency.
