THE IDEA
Imagine waking up and hearing music somewhere in the distance.
In another corner, a few people are moving together.
Someone is editing footage.
Someone is writing.
Two people are still deep in a conversation that started the night before. Nobody planned any of this. It’s simply what happens when artists share space long enough.
That is the idea behind Monsoon Artists’ Gathering.
A community of 25 artists at Vinyasa Earth — five days of shared living, creating, collaborating, resting, and being around people who understand the way you experience the world.
No rigid schedule.
No pressure to constantly produce.
No pressure to impress anyone.
Just artists, together, during the monsoon.
THE RHYTHM OF THE GATHERING
Each morning begins with a shared circle. We sit together, check in with one another, and open the day slowly. People can share what they’re feeling, announce an offering, invite others into something they’re exploring, or simply listen. All meals are shared together as a community.
Every evening, before dinner, we gather again for a short silent circle — 15 minutes to pause, slow down, and arrive back into the space together.
These small rituals become the anchors of the gathering. Everything else flows naturally around them.

WHAT THESE DAYS FEEL LIKE
Some moments will be full — a late night jam that nobody planned, a film screening that turns into a two hour conversation, a collaboration between a musician and a dancer that neither of them saw coming.
Some moments will be quiet — chai in the morning, a walk in the rain, sitting with your own work while the sound of someone else’s creativity hums softly in the background.
Both are equally the point.
Each day, anyone can offer something to the group:
a session,
a screening,
a jam,
a reading,
a movement practice,
a conversation,
a walk,
or anything else that naturally wants to emerge.
People join what calls to them. Nothing is compulsory.
WHO THIS IS FOR
Artists from any discipline — music, writing, dance, theatre, film, photography, visual arts, design, movement, storytelling, or anything in between.
We’re not looking for the “best” artists.We’re looking for people who are open:
to sharing space,
to collaborating,
to listening,
and to spending five days together with sincerity and care.
Bring your instruments, notebooks, unfinished ideas, cameras, curiosity. Or simply bring yourself.

People who understand your work because they witnessed it happen. A collaboration that started unexpectedly. Conversations that stay with you long after the gathering ends. And the feeling of being completely at home around other artists.
THE SPACE – Vinyasa Earth
Everyone stays together in shared accommodation surrounded by nature and monsoon landscapes. Warm vegetarian meals are provided throughout the gathering by Vinyasa Earth. There will also be open community spaces to gather, create, rest, make music, read, or simply spend time together throughout the day and night. Artists who wish to stay longer after the gathering are welcome to extend their stay at ₹1,000 per day, including food and accommodation.
CONTRIBUTION
₹5,000 per person
Includes stay and all meals for 5 days.
We’ve intentionally kept the contribution low so artists are not choosing between community and rent.
