Become Your Own Muse – Women’s Retreat

November 27 | 4:00 pm – November 30 | 1:00 pm

The Experience

Your Words. Your Voice. Your Body.

Over the course of the retreat, you will develop a personal poem and explore how those words might live in your body.

Towards the end, you will record the poem in your own voice and create a visual piece of yourself moving to it.

You leave with a work of art made entirely from you. With your thoughts, your words, your voice and your body.

Who Is It For?

Become Your Own Muse is for anyone curious about self-expression.

You might come because you want to reconnect with your creative side.

Because you want to feel more at home in your body.

Because you have always wanted to write, move or make art but never thought of yourself as “creative.”

Or simply because you want to spend two days paying attention to yourself in a different way.

No previous experience with writing, dance, movement or painting is required.

What You Leave With?

A poem.

A painting.

A film.

A new way of moving.

A sentence you didn’t know you needed to write.

Or perhaps simply a different way of seeing yourself.

The retreat moves through one question after another:

What is inside me?

How do I see myself?

What do I want to say?

Can I own these words?

Can my body believe them too?

And finally:

Can I witness and celebrate myself?
