A five-day gathering for artists who want to explore facilitation, exchange skills, and learn directly from fellow practitioners.
Each participating artist offers one workshop from their practice and gains access to nine others—creating a week of collaborative learning, experimentation, and community living at Vinyasa Earth.
Whether you’re a dancer, musician, visual artist, writer, filmmaker, craftsperson, designer, theatre-maker, facilitator, or multidisciplinary creator, this is an opportunity to step into both roles: teacher and student.
The Idea
Most artists spend years refining their craft. Far fewer get the opportunity to refine how they share that craft with others.
Open Studio Exchange Week is a space for artists who are curious about facilitation, workshop design, community building, and creating meaningful experiences around their practice.
For five days, ten artists come together to live, learn, teach, and exchange perspectives. Each artist facilitates one workshop while participating in the workshops offered by the other artists in the cohort.
The result is a unique environment where artists not only receive feedback on their work but also witness nine different ways of holding space, structuring experiences, and engaging participants.
You may arrive with one way of conducting a workshop. You may leave with ten.
Why This Exchange Matters
Workshops are becoming an increasingly important way for artists to share their practice, build communities, and generate income. Yet many artists rarely receive the opportunity to observe how others facilitate, communicate, curate experiences, and engage participants. This week is designed to change that.
By living alongside fellow artists and participating in their sessions, you’ll gain exposure to different facilitation styles, teaching approaches, creative methodologies, and audience engagement techniques.

How It Works
- 10 artists are selected for the exchange.
- The exchange runs for 5 days at Vinyasa Earth.
- Every facilitating artist conducts one workshop.
- Facilitating artists receive access to all workshops during the week.
- Workshops are opened to the public through Workshop Passes.
- Vinyasa Earth provides space, logistics, marketing, and ticketing support.

Artist Facilitator
₹7,400/- + taxes
The actual cost of staying at Vinyasa Earth with accommodation and meals is significantly higher. This rate is subsidized for artists who contribute a workshop to the exchange.

Public Participation
Selected workshops will be open to the public throughout the week.
Public Workshop Pass
₹299/- + taxes per workshop
Includes

Accommodation and meals can be booked separately at Vinyasa Earth’s regular rates, subject to availability.
Revenue Share
Every workshop facilitated during the exchange will be listed and promoted through Vinyasa Earth.
For every Workshop Pass sold:
60% goes to the facilitating artist
40% goes to Vinyasa Earth
Vinyasa Earth’s share covers:

- Ticketing and Booking Management
